Research and reports are key to our work at Hourglass in trying to prevent the abuse of older people and support safer ageing.

We work with academics, other charities, victim survivors, and stakeholders to gather data and information to further the growing research on the abuse of older people. This research helps us to greater understand the abuse phenomena, and allows Hourglass to develop measures to help prevent and intervene in cases of domestic abuse and the abuse of older people.
