Dementia Sufferers Abused.

A carer who was abusive to elderly dementia sufferers under her care has been jailed after being exposed by a whistle-blower. The defendant was abusive and swore at ten separate vulnerable victims, residents of the care home she worked in.

 

The defendant also roughly force fed a 91-year-old, putting food into her mouth when she was asleep, the same victim was also slapped on the hands and verbally abused by the defendant.

 

The defendant admitted 10 counts of ill treatment of a person lacking mental capacity, and was jailed for a period of nine months, as well as banned from ever working with vulnerable adults or children in the future,
